We are fourth-generation carpenters with a long family tradition of working with wood. When his sons were young, Neil bought a lathe without a shed to put it in. Once the shed was built in 1991, they began woodturning at home and the beginning of a journey that continues today. Neil has now been a woodturner for over 34 years.

Neil sold his work for many years from a stall in Eyre Square, Galway, as well as at craft fairs and local markets. Today, he works from his shop in Ballinahallia, Moycullen (H91 YRY8), which is open daily. His handmade pieces include bowls, tables, platters, clocks, mirrors, bread boards, and picture frames, with resin now featuring in more recent designs.
